General Rules for Our Renters

Core Values

 

The staff of St. Mary's Parish Hall, hereinafter called SMH,

expects you to conduct yourself in a way

that would honor and glorify God in all you do,

in your thoughts, actions and decisions.

 

Renter

 

Provide final head count 2 weeks before event,

including food and beverage choices.

 

  Access to Hall 1 hour before event.

 

  If Saturday evening rental, renter will have access to Hall

Friday, from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm

to decorate, based on availability.

 

  Access to Bridal Room/Conference Room

1 hour before evening event and/or

1 hour before wedding if married at St. Mary Church.

 

  Any alcohol purchased and/or ordered must be poured.

An accurate head count is essential.

By law, any leftover alcoholic beverages can not be

taken with the renter and can not be held at the hall.

 

Contractual Events

 

A contractual event is an event that is rented from SMH and a contract is signed.

 

  Evening Rentals are from 6:00 pm to Midnight,

with the bar closing at 11:30 pm.

 

 

Day Rentals are for either 2 hours or 4 hours.

 

An alphabetical list of cooks/caterers may will be provided

to prospective renters.

 

  Restricted kitchen use:

Cooks/caterers may use kitchen sinks, counter tops,

ovens, stoves, refrigerators, freezers.

Use of any and all other kitchen items and/or equipment

is prohibited.

 

 

Decorating

 

No tape on walls or floor

 

 No use of tacks, pins, nails, or any hardware that would penetrate

the walls, tables, ceiling, wood molding, window trim, floors or partitions

in any way, shape or form.

 

Right of Refusal

 

SMH reserves the right to refuse service to anyone for any reason.
